Culminating Point

A real-time strategy game of the war in 1941, where logistics decides it: depots, crates and green trucks set how far a division can go.

How the game works

The map is made of hexes of 15 km, with fronts and divisions. Most of the game is the supply, in crates: a depot holds crates, its green trucks carry them along the roads to the divisions within its reach, and a division carries five crates and eats them by what it does. With none left it fights and moves at a quarter of its strength.

Every advance works against the attacker: the trucks' reach ends where the depot's does, and a division beyond it runs dry in a few days. So every offensive has a culminating point, and the game is about where yours lies.

Campaigns

North Africa from March 1941, and the Two Banks, an invented world. Each is played from either side against the AI, in real time with pause. A side wins when it holds every victory point on the map. The game speaks English and Italian and runs in a desktop browser; it installs as an app and plays offline.
